How Is PowerPoint Track Changes Different From Microsoft’s Native Tools?

Unlike Microsoft PowerPoint’s native collaboration tools, which only allow co-authoring and basic commenting, UpSlide PowerPoint Track Changes offers full, Word-style version control. It automatically detects differences between two PowerPoint files and presents them in a dedicated review pane, where users can see, accept, reject, or revert changes to text, charts, tables, and even Excel Links.

For example, if someone updates an EBITDA figure on slide 5, Track Changes highlights the edit so you can see it was made. AI Consistency Check then scans the rest of your presentation to ensure that figure flows through correctly to slides 12, 18, and 23 – catching calculation errors or inconsistencies that manual review might miss.
