UpSlide’s PDF to Excel feature is built into your Excel add-in. It lets you open a PDF in a side panel alongside your spreadsheet, select a table or data region by drawing a rectangle over it, and extract that data directly into your active cell range, without leaving Excel or uploading files to an external tool.
No. UpSlide displays the PDF in a side panel during extraction but never embeds it in the workbook file itself. Your Excel file stays clean and lightweight, and you can share it externally without the source document included, which matters when your output goes directly to a client or deal counterparty.
UpSlide flags it before doing anything. A prompt gives you the choice to replace the existing data or insert the extraction into an empty range, so there’s no risk of overwriting work that’s already in your model.
